All the properties are within easy reach of Inverness city centre on foot.

1. 2 Bedroomed Split Level Top Floor Apartment with Great Views

The location of the Ardross Residence is fab. It’s right in the city centre with views of the River Ness. It looks across to Inverness Cathedral and is close to restaurants, riverside walks and the fabulous Eden Court Theatre.

There is street parking nearby with a permit provided as part of the property rental.

The accommodation features one double bedroom and one bedroom that can be a double or twin bed as it has a zip and link bed.

It’s a bright and airy split level apartment, which means there are stairs within the apartment and stairs to reach the apartment.

The decor is lovely with some nice Scottish touches throughout.

There is a dining area in the kitchen and a separate dining table too with a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine as well.

One of the bedrooms is on the lower level of the apartment.

The views from the lounge are over the River Ness – you can see the Ardross Residence in the picture below highlighted by the arrow.

The parking underneath the property is by resident permit, and there is public paid car parking nearby. As you can see from the picture the River Ness is very close to the apartment too.

On the doorstep is the historic Inverness Cathedral, with its unusually flat spires (because they ran out of money to finish them during construction!). The cathedral has a little cafe beside it.

Just along from Inverness Cathedral is Eden Court Theatre. It’s a great spot with some fabulous shows and the comfiest cinema seats you will ever find. It shows a great range of independent films as well as latest releases. It also has a lovely cafe and restaurant inside it – it’s one of my favourite places in Inverness.

There are plenty of restaurants and eating places nearby and Inverness Castle is just across the river from the Ardross residence.

2. 2nd Floor Apartment in Old Church Building with Lovely Views

River View is a 1 bedroomed apartment on the 2nd floor of an old church right beside the River Ness, in the centre of Inverness.

The views look over the river. The location is really convenient with everything in Inverness within very easy walking distance.

Directly opposite River View is a footbridge crossing the River Ness, making it easy to access the attractions on the other side of the River. There are also some lovely riverside walks, including Ness Islands to enjoy.

There is free parking at the front of River View and also a residents parking permit to allow parking on the adjacent street. If you are not travelling with a car it is less than 10 minutes walk from the train and bus station to reach the apartment.

River View is a light, bright and airy apartment with everything you need. A well fitted kitchen makes it easy to enjoy something to eat in the apartment. There are great restaurants all around so no need to worry about cooking if you don’t want to.

The reviews River View rate it as outstanding.

3. Two Double Bedroomed Ground Floor Property In a Great Area

Alturlie is a lovely property set in a quiet part of Inverness, which is within easy walking distance of the city centre.

Alturlie has two bedrooms, one with a king sized and the other a smaller double bedroom.

The interior is bright and light with neutral colours throughout. The lounge is comfy with two sofas and the kitchen has a 4 seater dining table in it.

There is a shower room, sun room and a compact garden with a patio area, ideal for sitting out and enjoying some of the sunshine.

A parking permit enables guests to park one car on the street near the property.

Alturlie has been rated as outstanding.

Prices start from £457 for a 7 night stay.

4. Choice of 1 and 2 Bedroomed Hotel Style Apartments Right In Centre, Next to Castle and Close to the River

Highland Apartments is a collection of holiday apartments to let in a building located right in the centre of Inverness City Centre.

The Castle is beside the Highland Apartments building, Inverness Museum is next door and below the apartments are a variety of shops and restaurants including the lovely Whisky shop.

The River Ness is very close to these buildings, which really are located in the heart of the action.

Some have river views, some city views and all have lovely furnishings and modern decor with modern Scottish touches.

The floor to ceiling windows gives the apartments a really lovely bright feel.

The outside decking area is a great addition giving you the chance to sit and savour the views.

All the bedrooms have king sized or super king beds

The Highland Apartments is a luxury option in the heart of the city centre.

The Penthouse has an interior like a luxury hotel. The decor is modern and stylish with fabulous furnishings as well.

It has an open plan main living room with double aspect windows, ensuring lots of light floods in.

The apartment is set in a lovely residential part of Inverness (a posh bit of Inverness!) but is within very easy reach of everything – the Castle is 1.4 miles away for example.

There is free parking outside the property too.

There are 3 bathrooms and two lovely large double bedrooms too.

8. Lovely 1 Bedroomed Lodge with River View in the City Centre

Wee Ness Lodge is a super cute lodge tucked into a quiet corner of Inverness city centre.

There is a lovely view of the River Ness from the terrace of the lodge and you will find it hard to believe how close to the city centre you are.

The location of Wee Ness Lodge is great. It’s close to the greenery of Ness Islands, which makes for a lovely circular walk around the River Ness. It’s also located close to Inverness Botanic Gardens (tiny but lovely) and the sports area of Inverness with swimming pool, an ice rink and outdoor games fields.

Close by is the wonderful Eden Court Theatre, where you will great shows and entertainment along with two great cinemas and the comfiest cinema seats ever.

Along the river are lots of restaurants and cafes and of course Inverness Castle.

Wee Ness Lodge is ideal if you want a lodge style holiday cottage, with river views, and a greener feel to your stay yet everything is on your doorstep too.

9. Inverness Cottage Near The River With Parking & Courtyard

Easdale House is a cottage that has a one bedroomed apartment and 2 bedroomed apartment available.

Easdale House is located in a residential area of Inverness near the River Ness. All the attractions of Inverness are within easy walking, with the River Ness 1 or 2 minutes walk from the property.

The apartments are comfy and cosily decorated with a one bedroomed apartment on the ground floor and two bedroomed apartment upstairs.

There is a little courtyard for guests use at the rear of the property and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Easdale House is located very close to Inverness Cathedral.

Guests are able to use a parking permit so parking is available on the streets near the property.

Also nearby is a small supermarket and a good variety of places to eat and drink, including one of my favourites, The Kitchen Brasserie.

Rossal House Apartments – Choice of Properties in this Historic Building

Rossal House is a lovely period building set in a very nice (posh!) bit of Inverness.

There are several apartments available for holiday lets in Rossal House including a studio apartment, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

Rossal House has a wonderful entrance lobby, with a grand staircase, ensuring you really do make an entrance every time you come back to your apartment.

Rossal House is also set in lovely grounds, which are of course shared, and add a lovely green and peaceful feel too.

Ness Islands is close to Rossal House, meaning you have riverside walks and circular walks almost on your doorstep.

All the facilities of Inverness are an easy 1 mile riverside stroll away too, with restaurants and Eden Court theatre nearer.

Rossal House is a great choice if you want to experience a character stay, like easy walks from your door and you enjoy a quieter location.

The following apartments are available in Rossal House. They can be booked individually or together for group bookings.

The great thing about Rossal House is that you can use the communal lounge area too if staying in any of the holiday apartments.

10. Roseile – King Sized Bedroom Studio Apartment

Roseisle is on the upper ground floor, which means it has 14 steps to reach it.

It has a studio bedroom/lounge as you can see from the photo.

There is a compact kitchen with a table for two. Despite its size, the kitchen has a dishwasher, always a handy feature!

The bathroom has a walk in shower with a heated towel rail.

Gas central heating will keep you cosy and the free WIFI ensures you can keep connected if you want to.

Rossal House has plenty of free parking around the property.

There are also lovely communal gardens around Rossal House to enjoy.

There is a good housekeeping bond of £150 for any bookings.

11. Lewis – 1 Bedroomed First Floor Apartment

Lewis is a first floor 1 bedroom apartment in Rossal House.

The lounge/diner is open and spacious with a 4 seater diner table and a lovely L-shaped leather sofa.

The kitchen in Lewis is well equipped, with everything you might need including a dishwasher.

As with all the apartments in Rossal House, guests can use the communal seating area and gardens.

There is also plenty of on site parking.

Lewis can be booked on its own or with other apartments making it an ideal holiday option for groups.

There is a £150 good housekeeping deposit for Lewis.

Prices for Lewis start at £432 per week.

12. Balintore – Two Bedroomed First Floor Apartment with Twin and Double Bedrooms

Balintore is a two bedroomed apartment set on the upper floor of an annexe to the main building at Rossal House.

Balintore has its own independent entrance up a set of steps.

Once inside there is a cosy lounge/dining area.

There is one shower room and toilet.

Each of the bedrooms, one double and one twin, has a washbasin. The bedrooms are located on the ground floor of this building.

There is a good housekeeping deposit of £250 for Balintore.

Prices start from £494 per week.

13. Balblair – 2 Bedroomed Upper Ground Floor Apartment with Double and Twin Bedrooms

Balblair is a spacious 2 bedroomed apartment in Rossal House.

The main lounge area is spacious with a large L-shaped leather sofa and dining table.

Each of the bedrooms has a TV and there is a separate toilet.

The kitchen is well equipped making it easy to cater holiday meals.

As with all the apartments in Rossal House, Balblair can be booked on its own or with other apartments.

There is plenty of parking on site, with lovely communal gardens and interior seating areas to enjoy.

There is a good housekeeping deposit of £250

14. 2 Bedroomed Cottage Opposite River Ness With Off Road Parking

Douglas Row is a terraced cottage set in a pretty row just across from the River Ness.

There is a bright kitchen diner which is well equipped including a gas burning stove, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen area also has a wood burning stove.

There is a cosy lounge, ideal for relaxing after a great day exploring the Highlands.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. I double bedroom is en suite. There is also a separate bathroom and shower room.

The cottage also has WIFI and Netflix.

Douglas Row also has off road parking for one car and a street permit for another vehicle. This is a great asset for a property in the city centre.

Douglas Row is within easy reach of all the city centre attractions. It is also beside the River Ness (there is a road between the cottage and the River). This means there are riverside walks from the doorstep.

Douglas Row starts from £530 per week.

15. 2 Bedroomed House with Garden

Witchelm House is a 2 bedroomed house in a residential part of Inverness.

It is close to the Muirtown Locks area of Inverness where there are some pleasant canalside walks.

The cottage is bright and airy with a double and a twin bedroom.

There is an open plan kitchen and lounge area on the ground floor with a breakfast bar for dining.

The garden is enclosed with garden furniture making it a great spot to enjoy relaxing in.

Witchelm House is rated 4.8 out of 5 from 21 guest reviews.

16. 1 Bedroomed First Floor Apartment

Apartment 23:3 is in a residential area of Inverness. It is within walking distance of Inverness centre.

The apartment is located on the first floor of the building.

The apartment has wooden floors throughout. There is a well equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge with a sofa, flatscreen TV and a feature fireplace.

Upstairs there is a cosy double bedroom and a bathroom which has a bath with a shower over.

Apartment 23:3 has good reviews scoring 4.6 from 5 guest reviews.

Apartment 23.3 is available from £317 per week

There is a shared rear garden and WIFI throughout.

17. 4 Bedroomed Villa with Front and Rear Garden with Off Road Parking

Mary Ann Villa is a very pretty villa in a lovely central residential of Inverness

There is a king sized en suite bedroom, 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom.

There is a bright kitchen, snug and open plan lounge and dining room.

There is a bedroom on the ground floor.

There is a front and rear garden area and off road parking outside the property (for all residents).

Mary Ann Villa is located in a quiet residential area. It is within easy reach of Eden Court, the cinema and theatre in the heart of the Inverness. The centre of Inverness is within easy walking distance as are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops.

The River Ness is nearby which offers riverside walks too.

Mary Ann Villa is a lovely property for a city centre stay.

The Shieling is located in a quiet residential area of Inverness. It is within easy walking distance of the River Ness. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as the cinema and theatre complex Eden Court, easily accessed over a footbridge across the river.

Ness Islands are also nearby – these are a popular area to walk with locals and visitors alike. Inverness Castle is a little along the river, but still within easy walking distance.

There is a king sized bedroom with en suite shower and a twin bedroom with en suite shower, making the Shieling ideal for sharing with family or friends.

The open plan lounge and kitchen/dining area make socialising easy. There is a breakfast bar for meals.

There is off road parking for 2 cars and a patio area to the rear of the property to enjoy on warm days and evenings.

The Shieling is a great base for exploring Inverness on foot, whilst enjoying a quieter area to stay in.

Riverview Apartment is a 2 bedroomed apartment on the 2nd floor of a residential complex beside the lovely River Ness. The balcony gives great views of the river.

The nearby walking paths give easy access to riverside walks, circular walks and into the city centre where you will find plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops.

Riverview Apartment has a double bedroom with en suite shower and twin bedroom. There is a cosy lounge with a pair of two seater sofas and a door to the balcony.

This apartment is on the 2nd floor of the building – there is no lift.

The property is rated as excellent with a score of 4.7 out of 5.

Rowan House is a deceptively spacious house. It’s set in a residential area of Inverness within walking distance of the city centre attractions.

On the ground floor is an open plan living and dining area, with a handily located WC on the ground floor as well.

Upstairs there are two double bedroom and a shower room and on the second floor a further double bedroom, twin bedroom and shower room.

Outside there is a garden area with a patio, ideal for enjoying the evening after a busy day exploring the Highlands.

Rowan House has been rated 4.8 out of 5 and Excellent

Prices start from £577 per week

21. Ground Floor 2 Bed Apartment in Lovely Part of Inverness Close to Ness Islands

Riverside Gardens is a lovely ground floor apartment set in a residential building. It is located in a lovely part of Inverness, within easy walking distance of the city centre and also close to the River Ness. There are lovely circular walks from the door, as well as Ness Islands which are a popular walking spot with locals too.

Nearby are also plenty of restaurants and the cinema and theatre complex Eden Court.

There are two king sized bedrooms, one of which is en suite. A comfy living room with leather sofas is the perfect place to unwind and the kitchen/diner is a great place for great meals with family or friends.

Designated parking at the front of the property is a handy feature in Inverness.

Riverside Gardens is a great option if you are looking for ground floor accommodation in a quiet but central location.

Riverside Gardens has scored 4.7 out of 5 and has been rated as excellent by previous guests.
