Holidays to Algarve – 3 Trip Reviews, 4 Hotels Plus Vilamoura Guide

I’ve enjoyed a couple of holidays to Algarve. It’s a lovely region of Portugal and very accessible from the UK. Check out my trip reviews below. One of the holidays was when I was travelling as a couple, the other started out as a couple but I ended up going solo after the 1st night. What a fab holiday experience it turned out to be and the start of my solo travel adventuring! I’ve also included details of a a stay I did when leading a tour group who took a holiday to the Portugal with the first part of… Read More »Holidays to Algarve – 3 Trip Reviews, 4 Hotels Plus Vilamoura Guide

Courtyard by Marriott Inverness – 1 Night Review Dec 2020

In December 2020 I stayed for one night at the new Courtyard by Marriott, Inverness Airport, more commonly known at the Inverness airport hotel. This is a new hotel which opened in March 2020. It’s great for Inverness to have an airport hotel, although there are plenty of hotels in Inverness which is not far away. Covid19 Restrictions At the time of staying the Highlands was in Tier 1 so it was OK to stay overnight. Not long after our stay the Highlands went into Tier 4 so overnight stays are only allowed in connection with essential work or as per the Government list of… Read More »Courtyard by Marriott Inverness – 1 Night Review Dec 2020

I booked a stay at the Suitel Bosphorus Taksim for 4 nights in late October 2019/early November 2019. It was my first visit to Istanbul, a city I had wanted to visit for a long time. Sabiha Gokcen Airport Hotel – Real Traveller Review

The Sabiha Gokcen Airport hotel is actually an onsite hotel called the  ISG Airport Hotel. I stayed for one night in early November 2019 as I was flying out the next day from Sabiha Gocken to Baku. I arrived on one of the transfer buses from Taksim Square which drops passengers at the upper level of the airport. I could see the hotel and thought I would walk across to it, but due to a lack of infastructure it is not possible to walk. To reach the hotel you need to go down to the ground floor and look for… Read More »Sabiha Gokcen Airport Hotel – Real Traveller Review
