I used my Priority Pass membership to access this lounge which meant the visit cost me £20.60 with my Standard Plus membership (and my reader discount).

- Location Details: Near Gate 16 on the upper level. Take 3 flights of stairs or the lift up to the lounge. There is a WHSmith Newsagent at the entrance area.

Important Update – Lounge Rebranded to Turkish Airlines Lounge by Plaza Premium
- A short time after my visit the Plaza Premium rebranded to the Turkish Airlines Lounge by Plaza Premium.
- It is still accessible to paying lounge guests.
- The food has changed to offer mediterranean food throughout the day.
- What was the quiet area on the left hand side when you enter the lounge is now for Turkish Airline guests. What was the childrens area is now for Turkish Airline guests as well.
- The main central area of the lounge is accessible to lounge guests.

(There is now no dedicated childrens area in this lounge but there is a nursing room)
Plaza Premium Lounge Edinburgh – My Visit
- I visited this lounge during the middle of the day.
- It was quite quiet with guests spread throughout the the lounge.
- All areas of the lounge were accessible to use, so it was spacious

Monday: 4am to 10pm
Tuesday: 4am to 9pm
Wednesday: 4am to 10pm
Thursday: 4am to 9pm
Friday: 4am to 9.30pm
Saturday: 4am to 9.30pm
Sunday: 4am to 10pm
How Can You Buy Access to the Plaza Premium Edinburgh?
Plaza Premium is a paid entry lounge. This means you need to pay to access the lounge.
You can either;
- Buy access directly on the Plaza Premium site – £40.50 per adult for a 2 hour stay, or £67.50 for a 5-hour stay
- Buy via a site such as Holidayextras – £40 per adult for a 3 hour stay, £36.80 per adult for a 2-hour stay
- Access via an airport lounges membership scheme such as Priority Pass.The cost to enter depends on your membership level.

Locating the Plaza Lounge Edinburgh Airport
- The lounge is located beside Gate 13.
- Once you pass through security and through the duty free hall turn right.
- Walk past Wetherspoons. The route bears to the right (there are some water fountains on the left) and also a Pret over to the left.
- You will also see a sign for ‘lounges’. The staircase is right beside WHSmith and Gate16.
- There is a lift upstairs which is by Gate 16.

Entering the Edinburgh Plaza Premium Lounge
- On entering the lounge you will need to show your boarding pass and your booking or your airport lounge membership card.
- I used Priority Pass to enter the lounge.

Plaza Premium Edinburgh Facilities and Services
Airport View
- The lounge is spacious, open and light with large windows on two sides of the lounge.
- The left hand side of the lounge, as you enter, has views over the runway for the first part of the lounge. The far side of the lounge has limited views due to buildings.
Seating
There are a variety of seating options available to visitors using the lounge including;
- Sofas
- Lounge chairs
- Wing backed chairs
- Chairs and tables
- Bar stools

Lounge WIFI
- The WIFI was strong, stable and fast.
Plaza Premium Toilets
- There are toilets inside the Plaza Premium lounge so you don’t need to go outside of the lounge to access them which is handy.
- There are male and female toilets.
- The toilets were clean and there were nice toiletries as well.

Flight Information Board
- At the entrance to the lounge is an airport display board which shows flight information with gate numbers.
- There are no announcements made in the airport lounge.
Newspapers and Magazines
- There are some newspapers and magazines available when you enter the lounge.

Plaza Premium Lounge Edinburgh Menu
Drinks
- The Plaza Premium lounge operates a tended bar service for most drinks. There were some soft drinks available to help yourself.
- Hot drinks were available at one of the two machines in the lounge. There was a good selection including nice syrups for coffees and hot chocolates.

Hot And Cold Food
- Since rebranding the lounge has revamped it’s food offering.
- It now offers Turkish, Meditteranean and Balkan food including plenty of sweet treats.
- It sounds delicious.

Lounge access includes: Access to range of comfortable seating, high speed WIFI, hot and cold dishes (buffet style), tended bar service with free alcholic and soft drinks, free hot drinks (from machine), in lounge toilets, complimentary newspapers and magazines.
Plaza Premium Lounge Edinburgh – Final Verdict
- The lounge is spacious so it was easy to find a quiet spot.
- The food choice was a bit limited for vegetarians but it was OK.
- Service was good at the lounge with a friendly welcome.
