Looking for the best Manchester Airport lounge for business travellers?

As someone who is regularly travelling for work I love using an airport lounge so I can keep on top of important tasks, catch up on emails, or simply enjoy a quieter space.

There are three lounges at Manchester Terminal 2. I’ve visited the very popular Escape Lounge and 1903 Lounge which I compare here. The Aspire Lounge was not available to anyone other than the airline guests they had prebooked and this was going to be the case for several more months.

I’ve used Priority Pass membership to access airport lounges for years now. They help me to have a calmer, comfortable and more productive airport visit. I prebooked all my lounge visits through Priority Pass so I was guaranteed entry, which was good as the airport was busy.

I think the best lounge for business travellers at Manchester is the Escape Lounge. This is because it has more useable space for working and it doesn’t attract a premium price like the 1903 lounge.

Here’s what the Escape Lounge offers:

  • Large airy lounge
  • Reliable WiFi
  • Power sockets around the edge of the lounge and each section
  • Full hot and cold buffet running all day

✨ Why Business Travellers Should Use Manchester Airport Lounges

Manchester is a very busy airport.

Here’s what the lounges offer business travellers at Manchester;

  • Better seating options with more choices for working
  • Better WiFi with ample capacity for downloading
  • Food and drink to keep you going while you work
  • Power sockets (although these are not at every seating point in the lounges)

Airport lounges provide a quieter and more comfortable space. Even if you don’t have much actual work to do having a bit of time to reflect and recharge can be really helpful.

💼 Is Priority Pass Worth It for Business Travellers?

If you fly several times a year, the answer yes.

If you plan to use airport lounges less than 3 times a year then getting a good online deal is usually the way to go.

If you fly more than 3 times a year then an airport lounge membership such as Priority Pass Membership is a better value way to access airport lounges.

Priority Pass gives access to all the airport lounges at Manchester Birmingham Airport. You can also prebook your entry into the lounges, which guarantees your entry. It’s a small additional fee which is refunded if you cancel within 48 hours.

Airport lounge access turns Birmingham Airport into a much calmer experience.
