If you’re flying from London Luton Airport you might be considering using the MyLounge at the airport before your flight.
I’ve used this lounge and in this review I’ll show you exactly what to expect in this lounge, how to access it, what the food and facilities are like, and whether it’s good value for money.
I visited using my Priority Pass membership Standard Plus Membership which includes 10 visits so the cost to use this lounge was just £20.60 making it better value than an airport meal and drink.

My Lounge Luton Airport Price
| Book Direct | Book 3rd Party | Priority Pass |
|---|---|---|
| £40 for 3 hours access | £36.12 with my Holidayextras Discount code for 3 hours access | £20.60 with Priority Pass Standard Plus (10 included visits) |
If you’re deciding how to enter, here’s the simple takeaway: Priority Pass is usually the best value if you’ll use lounges more than once or twice per year, while third-party passes can work well for one-off trips.
The My Lounge is a paid entry lounge. This means you can access it whatever airline you are flying with and whatever type of class you are flying.
You can either;
- Buy access directly with My Lounges – £40 per adult for a 3 hour stay
- Buy access through via my discount code at Holidayextras – £36.12 for 3 hours guaranteed entry
- Access via an airport lounges membership scheme such as Priority Pass. The cost to enter depends on your membership level.

Inside the My Lounge Luton – My Experience
I visited when the lounge and the airport were extremely busy. At the time of visiting the No1 Lounge was closed so the My Lounge was the only available lounge at Luton Airport.
It was better than being stuck on a metal seat (or the floor) in the overcrowded airport main public areas. Thank goodness for noise cancelling headphones which made the background noise much better to deal with. One of the main issues with noise was a particularly large group of guests who got louder the longer the stayed in the lounge, and the more drinks they took on board.
I did have to shuffle seats a couple of times until I finally ended up on a small table for 2 in the corner rather than being jammed onto a table of 6 near the buffet.
Inside this lounge you’ll find:
- High tables and chairs for 6 people (no power sockets)
- One large central table for 12-14 people (no sockets) and seats a little low for the table
- Small individual tables by the windows
- Sofa seating and tables
- Lots of tables and chairs for 2 with various styles
- Small dining tables for 2 people and 4 people
There is also a family room, although on the day I visited this didn’t seem to be reserved for families but rather for everyone. The family room has a TV on the wall and that seemed to be the only difference really.
There are toilets within the lounge area. These were not the cleanest when I visited but this was no doubt due to the lounge being so busy – the staff were flat out trying to keep on top of everything.
The lounge was so busy I wasn’t able to get many photos in the lounge myself so I have used photos from Priority Pass combined with the few of my own I was able to take.

Hot Food
It was midday when I visited so the lounge had just changed over to the daytime menu.
MyLounge have a hot and cold buffet available. The selection is a little smaller than other lounges and as a vegetarian I find the choice a bit limited. The lounge offers chicken or mushroom gyros with a bit of salad and chips
- Chicken gyros
- Mushroom gyros
- Salads
- Garlic and herb chips

Is Priority Pass Worth It at Luton Airport?
For most travellers, the answer to that is yes.
Here’s why:
- Walk-in price: +£40
- Priority Pass visit with Standard Plus Membership (and my discount code) is £20.60
- Food + drinks + comfort: Included
If you use airport lounge 2-3 times a year, Priority Pass often pays for itself.
For regular flyers, it’s one of the easiest ways to save money and upgrade your airport experience.
My Lounge Gatwick South FAQs
Is the the MyLounge at Gatwick South terminal worth it?
This lounge is worth it if you value a comfortable space before you fly, a quieter space and are happy with the food which is not a full buffet like some other lounges. The No1 Lounge might be a better option if you prefer a different buffet choice.
Can you access the MyLounge with Priority Pass?
Yes, My Lounge accepts Priority Pass. You can also prebook the lounge. I would highly recommend this as the demand for lounges in Luton Airport is high.
What food and drinks are available in the MyLounge?
This lounge has a small buffet with soup, gyros and a small selection of salads and muffins. There are soft drinks available for self service and a hot drinks machine too. Alcoholic drinks are served by staff.
How does the MyLounge compare to the No1 Lounge in Luton Airport?
MyLounge is a comfortable lounge with a relaxed feel. The food offering is the smallest of the lounges (and a bit more limited for vegetarians). The windows are great if you love people watching.
MyLounge Luton Airport – Final Verdict
- This lounge is more suited to leisure travellers than those wanting to do some work – that’s mainly because of the lack of power sockets near lots of the seating.
- The food is a more limited than other lounges. Check the menu before booking if you want to eat before your flight.
- The lounge windows overlook the main airport public area – great for people watching!
