Opera Residence Apartment Price
I found the Opera Residence Apartment to be great value for money. I stayed in March so it was off season but 2 nights was £84.

What I Liked
The apartment was very quiet. It was also very secure as it was in a building of apartments. There was a key for the outer doors and then a lift to the apartment.

This apartment is in a great location. As the name suggests it is close to the Hungarian State Opera House. It is also within easy walking distance of the Danube river, the bus station, the train station, and many attractions on the Pest side of the city.

The apartment is on a side street off the main street in the area.

The apartment owner also sent through a very comprehensive and detailed guide to Budapest. It had lots of helpful information in about changing money, places to visit, locals tips, how to get around and more.

Bedroom
There is a double bedroom at the apartment.
This was comfortable and the room was quiet.
It had the continental type duvets i.e. one for each person in the bed rather than one large duvet.

Eating and Drinking Options Nearby
There are plenty of options for eating and drinking nearby including;
- El Canonazo – a Cuban restaurant next to the apartment block
- Tay Ho – Vietnamese restaurant just across the street
If you turn left out of the apartment building you come to Nagymezo Street where you will find plenty more options including;
- A bakery
- A fast food shop
- Corto coffee shop
- Tutto Italian restaurant
- Pizzica pizza restaurant
- Tacet Brewery taproom serving craft beer
- And more

What’s Nearby
If you turn left out of the apartment building there is a Spar shop on the street corner.
There is a secret gallery nearby.
The Hungarian State Opera House is close too.
If you turn right out of the apartment building and walk back down to the main street you will find;
Arany Janos Utca Metro Station
If you turn left at the main street and continue walking you will come to Deak Ferenc bus terminal.
From here you can easily reach the Danube river and boats on the Danube river, plus museums, attractions, cafes and the market hall

- The Opera Residence Budapest is a great choice if you want a great value apartment that is within easy reach of everything in Budapest
- It’s a great choice if you plan to use public transport as it is within easy reach of the bus terminal, the metro station and the train station
