Professional Traveller Review
I stayed at this hotel for three nights in Vilamoura. I loved the accommodation and the lovely green areas to enjoy. The indoor swimming pool was great, the staff were super friendly. It was a lovely relaxing stay.
What I Loved
Cute little bungalow-style room with a terrace. Lovely green areas set around ponds and swimming pool. Lots of lovely trees and plants.
Pestana Vila Sol Golf & Resort Hotel Review
I stayed at this hotel in November. It was pretty quiet which meant that I was generally the only person at the indoor pool.
The restaurant and bar were nice places to relax and enjoy indoors too.
The Pestana Hotel Vila Sol is in a great location for exploring the Algarve too.
I really enjoyed the resort style of this hotel. It had low level accommodation with small bungalow style rooms set around lush gardens and a swimming pool. Very relaxing.

Getting There
The hotel is 25 miles from Faro Airport, the main airport for the Algarve.

Getting Around
The hotel is to the North of Vilamoura. It is possible to walk around the local area which is mainly accommodation and resorts.
There are a few small shops.
A car is probably the best option for getting around. There is plenty of free parking at the hotel.
The hotel is also close to the main coastal road and the A22 motorway which runs East/West along the Algarve.
It is easy to explore the East and the West areas of the Algarve from Vilamoura.

Things to Do
The golf course is just beside the hotel.
The Aquashow waterpark is close to the hotel as well.
The N125 coast road is nearby – giving access to the coast.
