How to Buy Access to Birmingham Airport Lounges
There are various ways to buy lounge access including;
- Buy access directly via each lounge operator (No1 Lounges, Aspire Lounges, or My Lounges for Clubrooms)
- Buy through a third party site such as Holidayextras for a good online deal for occasional lounge access
- Access via an airport lounge membership scheme such as Priority Pass. The cost to enter depends on your membership level. Note that the Clubrooms requires a £15 surcharge on top of your standard Priority Pass visit fee.
Little Tip from Me: All three lounges at Birmingham Airport can get busy, particularly in the morning. Pre-booking through Priority Pass is recommended to guarantee your entry, especially at peak times. The reservation costs an additional £6.
Location of the Birmingham Airport Lounges
All three lounges are located airside at Birmingham Airport on the ground floor, but they are not grouped together — each has a different location after security.
- Aspire Lounge — immediately on the right after security, following signs for gates 1–20
- No1 Lounge and Clubrooms — head through the centre of the airport past WHSmith and JD Sports, follow overhead signs, then turn left at the end of the corridor. No1 Lounge is on the left; Clubrooms is further along on the left past the bar.

- The lounge has 3 separate seating areas, with mostly low tables and chairs — less suited to working with a laptop.

Is Priority Pass Worth It at Birmingham Airport?
For most travellers, the answer to that is yes.
Here’s why:
- Walk-in price: £42–£52 depending on lounge
- Priority Pass visit with Standard Plus Membership (and my discount): £20.60 at the No1 Lounge and Aspire Lounge / £35.60 at the Clubrooms (£15 surcharge applies)
- Food + drinks + comfort: Included
If you use airport lounges just twice a year, Priority Pass will generally pay for itself.
If you are a regular flyer like me then this is one of the best value travel upgrades available. You can also prebook all the lounges at Birmingham Airport through Priority Pass, which guarantees entry at peak travel times.

Birmingham Airport Lounges – Final Verdict
- The No1 Lounge is my top pick — best food selection, great views, a cinema room and the most varied seating including a dedicated workbench
- The Aspire Lounge is a solid all-rounder, closest to security and duty free, with the option to upgrade to table service meals for an additional fee
- The Clubrooms is the quietest option and the only adults-only lounge — good if you want table service meals and a calmer atmosphere, but the £15 Priority Pass surcharge makes it less competitive on value
- Pre-booking is recommended for all three lounges, particularly at peak times — a £6 reservation fee applies via Priority Pass
- None of the lounges have showers; toilets are outside both the No1 Lounge and Aspire Lounge, but there is one toilet within the Clubrooms
- All three lounges are accessible via Priority Pass airport lounge membership (Clubrooms with a £15 supplement)
