I chose to stay at the Village Hotel Solihull for 3 nights because I was on a leisure trip and I wanted to stay somewhere where I could easily get to and from Birmingham Airport. My flights to the Scottish Highlands were to and from Birmingham Airport with Flybe (these flights are now operated by Loganair). I stayed at the Ibis Birmingham on a Friday night in February 2020. I was visiting Birmingham and then travelling to Derby so it was a handy location New Street train station where I was getting my train to Derby from, and also enabled me to travel into Birmingham on the train from Birmingham International Airport. Ibis Birmingham Airport – 1 Night Professional Traveller Review

Ibis Birmingham Airport I stayed at the Ibis Budget Birmingham for one night, a Sunday, in February 2020. This was the 3rd hotel I stayed in during my trip and I stayed at the airport so I didn’t have to worry about travelling to the airport for my flight the next day. Birmingham Airport has flight connections to the Scottish Highlands, which were operated by Flybe when I flew but are now operated by Loganair.
