What Is the Postcode for Edinburgh Airport Fast Park?
The postcode is EH12 9QN. Follow the signs for FastPark and airport drop off. That means go straight over the roundabout with the DoubleTree by Hilton on the left. At the next roundabout turn left (Hampton by Hilton and a plane on your left hand side). Keep in the right lane and take the slip road that goes up and to the right to enter the FastPark.
Edinburgh Airport Fast Park – What Is It?
Edinburgh Airport Fast Park is a hybrid parking service – it’s a self service valet parking option! You park your car and it is then moved off site while you are away and brought back again when you get back to the airport.
The check in process and key collection is self service.
Getting to Edinburgh Airport Fast Park
When you arrive at Edinburgh Airport keep going straight over the roundabout with the Hilton Doubletree on the left.
At the next roundabout turn left. You will see a plane on the left and the Hampton by Hilton.
Keep to the right lane. Take your time.
You will see a slip road that goes up and to the right. This is the entrance to the Fast Park.
If you miss this turn you have to go through Edinburgh Airport drop off and it costs £6.00 to get out of the exit gate. If you do make this mistake don’t panic, you can scan your payment card at the barrier to get out and go round again.
Entering Edinburgh Fast Park
It feels counterintuitive to go uphill at the entrance but as soon you do you will see the entrance to the Fast Park area.
There is a covered area where the machine takes photos of your car.
It says to take a ticket but when I pressed to do this it said I was prebooked so there was no need.
Ahead of the covered area are several parking lanes.
A sign will tell you which lane to park in.
Important: The Fast Park is only accessible if you have prebooked.

Parking Your Car at Edinburgh Fast Park
Park your car in the designated lane. It can be quite close to the car infront as the cars are moved from the front of the row to the parking areas by the attendants.
Check and double check you have everything you need, because in a moment you will be dropping your keys off!
I took photos of my car from all angles. I always do this when parking somewhere for a little while anyway and it’s helpful to do in case of damage.
When you are ready lock your car and head to the reception building.

Edinburgh Airport Fast Park – Checking In
When you enter the reception building you will see the self service check in terminals.
You enter your car registration and flight details and you are then given a tag and a receipt.
The tag goes onto your keys which you then drop into the bin beside the self service kiosk.
The receipt goes somewhere safe as you need this for when you return. It’s the code to get your keys, which will be in a key safe.
Little Tip from Me: Take a photo of your receipt just in case you lose it. Make sure it is clear and you should still be able to scan the barcode.
Edinburgh Airport Fast Park – Helpful Staff on Site
Don’t panic about the self service check in. If it’s too confusing for you there will someone around that you can ask to help you.
The same applies if you have any questions or issues including when you return.

Heading to the Airport
Once you have dropped your keys you take the short walk into the airport terminal.
FastTrack Security
I took advantage of FastTrack security at Edinburgh Airport.
It’s £7 and well worth it in my view – at least while waiting for the whole airport to get the new airport scanners anyway.
Security is upstairs. You just use the escalator or the lift.
Once upstairs there is a currency exchange, toilets and a coffee shop.
For Fastrack Security keep to the left.
Fastrack Security at Edinburgh Airport currently means you don’t have to unpack your bags as it uses one of the new scanners.
You do still have to remove coats, shoes etc.
Edinburgh Airport Fast Park and FastTrack Security – Costs and Timings
I travelled in March 2025. I left my car for 5 nights at Edinburgh Airport and it worked out to £38.99 for the duration which was great.
FastTrack security was £7.00.
From arriving at the parking area to being through security took 20 minutes in total. That’s 20 minutes to drop the car off and get through security.
It was such a great way to start my trip.
I then headed straight for the Plaza Premium Lounge in Edinburgh Airport – very relaxing!

Edinburgh Airport Fast Park – Collecting My Car
Collecting my car from Edinburgh Airport Fast Park was super easy.
I simply scanned my receipt and it told me which key box to use and the code for it as well.
As you can see from the photos there are cabinets with key boxes in them.
There are instructions overhead.
Initially my ticket wouldn’t scan but a helpful member of staff had the magic touch and it scanned first time for them.
The receipt told us the bay number that my car was parked in.
It was a short walk to the car and we headed off.
Very easy, simple and quick.

Edinburgh Fast Park Conclusion
- I loved using Edinburgh Fast Park – it was a smooth and easy way to park my car
- I loved being able to see my car from the corridor between security and duty free (so I could wave bye bye to her)
- Collecting the car was also very easy and I was underway in a few minutes from arriving in the public arrivals hall
- I think using FastPark is a bit like being upgraded on a plane – it’s going to be hard to use the other car parks now!
