Heathrow Terminal 4 Lounges – Find the Best in 2026

Last updated on February 24th, 2026 at 05:22 pm

There are two Heathrow Terminal 4 Lounges – the Plaza Premium Lounge and the Blush Lounge.

I’ve used both lounges myself and in this guide I’ll show you exactly what to expect, how to access them, and which one I recommend depending on your flight time and where your gate is.

I visited using my Priority Pass Standard Plus membership. My plan includes 10 lounge visits per year, so each visit worked out at about £20.60 making membership excellent value.

✈️ Instant Verdict – Best Heathrow Terminal 4 Lounge

For most travellers, I recommend the Plaza Premium Lounge. It’s larger, more comfortable, and has better facilities including toilets inside the lounge, showers, and more varied seating.

The Blush Lounge is a decent alternative if you’re departing from Gates 1–4 and just want somewhere calm — but it’s smaller, has limited sockets, limited food choice, and doesn’t feel premium.

📍 Which Lounge Is Closest to Your Gate?

This matters more than most people realise at Terminal 4.

If you’re flying from Gates 1–4
→ The Blush Lounge is closest (near Gate 2)

If you’re flying from Gates 10A/10B
→ Plaza Premium is closest

If you’re unsure of your gate
→ Plaza Premium is usually the safer choice

Heathrow Terminal 4 Lounges – Quick Comparison

Both airport lounges in Terminal 4 are operated by Plaza. That means that they switch capacity between the two different lounges depending on how busy they are.

When I first visited Terminal 4 the Blush Lounge was closed to walk in guests and membership card holders so I went to the Plaza Lounge. Later on I went to back the Blush Lounge by which time the Plaza Lounge entry had been restricted.

👉 My Recommendation: For most travellers the Plaza Premium is the best choice.

If you’re deciding how to enter, here’s the simple takeaway: Priority Pass is usually the best value if you’ll use lounges more than once or twice per year, while third-party passes can work well for one-off trips.

Using Priority Pass In These Lounges

These lounges accept Priority Pass, which is usually the best value way to get access. My entry to this lounge cost me £20.60 as I used one of my included 10 visits with Standard Plus

One thing to note is that neither of the lounges in Terminal 4 can be booked in advance by Priority Pass members. However, one lounge should generally always be available to card holders. The only thing to be aware of is that the lounges are at opposite ends of the terminal so it is quite a long walk between the two.

For most travellers, the Plaza Premium is the best overall lounge. It has showers, meditation/prayer rooms, a family area, work cubes, toilets in the lounge, and the better food selection.

Can Economy Passengers Use These Lounges?

You can use these lounges no matter what your class of ticket and no matter what airline you are flying with

It’s larger, better equipped, and more comfortable for longer waits.

The Blush Lounge works if you’re near Gates 1–4 and just want somewhere calm, but it’s more basic.
