If you want to know which of the Heathrow Airport lounges is best because you want a more comfortable start to your journey, using an airport lounge is one of the best upgrades you can make.
Instead of crowded gate areas, expensive food, and limited seating, Heathrow lounges give you comfortable seating, complimentary food and drinks, charging points, and a far more relaxed environment before your flight.
I’ve used lounges across all Heathrow terminals myself, and in this guide I’ll show you the best lounges in each terminal and the easiest way to upgrade your airport experience.

Table of Contents
✈️ Instant Verdict – Best Heathrow Lounges Upgrade
Heathrow has good lounges in every terminal, including Plaza Premium, No1 Lounge, Aspire and MyLounge.
These lounges provide a far more comfortable and premium airport experience compared to waiting in the main departure airport departure areas. All of the lounges at Heathrow offer hot food buffets. The extent of the buffet available varies from lounge to lounge, with the No1 Lounge in Terminal 2 offering a much smaller menu than the Plaza Premium in Terminal 2 for example.
The best airport lounge at Heathrow Airport is the Plaza Premium in Terminal 2. It’s a great lounge with plenty of space, a great buffet, full bar, showers and plenty of space.
The simplest way to access them, if you are using lounges more than 3-5 times a year, is with Priority Pass. This gives you entry to over 1,700 airport lounges worldwide, including multiple lounges at Heathrow.

- I’ve used Priority Pass membership to access airport lounges for years now. They help me to have a calmer, comfortable and more productive airport visit. (There are affiliate links on my website – I only recommend things I use). About Me Page & Editorial Policy
