If you’re flying from Heathrow and want somewhere quieter and more comfortable than the main departure lounge, the Plaza Premium Lounge Heathrow Terminal 4 is the larger of the two lounges available.
I’ve used this lounge myself and in this review I’ll show you exactly what to expect, how to access it, what the food and facilities are like, and whether it’s good value for money.
I visited using my Priority Pass membership.

How To Buy Access to the Plaza Premium Lounge Terminal 4
| Book Direct | Book 3rd Party | Priority Pass |
|---|---|---|
| £44.12 for 2 hours £59.22 for 5 hours £81 for 6 hours | £38 for 3 hours refundable pass with LoungePair £40.85 with my Holidayextras Discount for 3 hours | £20.60 with Priority Pass Standard Plus (10 included visits) |
If you’re deciding how to enter, here’s the simple takeaway: Priority Pass is usually the best value if you’ll use lounges more than once or twice per year, while third-party passes can work well for one-off trips.
The Plaza Premium Lounge is a paid entry lounge. This means you can access it whatever airline you are flying with and whatever type of class you are flying.
You can either;
- Buy access directly on the Plaza Premium Site – £44.12 per adult for a 3 hour stay
- Buy access through a third party site such as LoungePair – £38 for a 3 hour stay and refundable if you can’t use your pass (entry not guaranteed)
- Buy access through via my discount code at Holidayextras – £40.85 for 3 hours guaranteed entry
- Access via an airport lounges membership scheme such as Priority Pass. The cost to enter depends on your membership level.
Using Priority Pass In This Lounge
This lounge accepts Priority Pass, which is usually the best value way to get access. My entry to this lounge cost me £20.60 as I used one of my included 10 visits with Standard Plus Membership.
You can’t prebook the Plaza Premium Lounge with Priority Pass. I think that’s because there will always be 1 lounge available in Terminal 4 to Priority Pass members, they just vary access depending on how busy they are with other customers.

Inside the Lounge – My Experience
The Plaza Premium Lounge at T4 is a large lounge with a relaxed, modern design and a mix of seating styles.
Inside, you’ll find:
- Armchairs and sofa seating
- Dining tables
- Work-style one person cubicles (with small tables only suitable for tablets or phones)
- A family area
- Large windows overlooking the apron
- Showers
- Meditation/prayer rooms
The lounge is generally clean and well maintained, with staff regularly clearing tables and restocking food.
At quieter times, it’s a pleasant place to relax.
I visited when the lounge was around 75% full, so this review reflects what it’s like in real-world conditions rather than a quiet off-peak snapshot.

Food & Drinks – What’s Included?
Drinks
Priority Pass guests have access to:
- Soft drinks
- Coffee and tea
- Beer and wine
The drinks are on the buffet to help yourself to. This meant the selection was a bit limited compared to lounges with a fully tended bar service.
Cold Buffet
On my visit the cold options included;
- Coronation chicken sandwiches on white bread
- Jelly pots
- Cheese and crackers
- Small cake bites and mini muffins
Hot Food
When I visited the hot dishes were;
- Pasta dish
- Meat stew type dish
I felt the food selection was a bit limited given the size of the lounge.
Seating, WiFi & Facilities
| Feature | Available | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| WiFi | ✅ | Reliable for browsing |
| Power Sockets | ✅ | Near most seats around the outside of the lounge, with sockets on wall and dividers |
| Showers | ⚠️ | 2 Showers – not able to view them as they were in use |
| Quiet Area | ⚠️ | Maybe the cubicles a bit quieter due to sitting in them. Most of them were in use when I visited |
| Alcohol | ✅ | Self service from the buffet with wine and beer |
| Family Area | ✅ | Separate family lounge area with sofa seating and tables |

Priority Pass FAQs – Plaza Premium T4
Is the Plaza Premium at Heathrow Terminal 4 worth it?
At £44.12 for 2 hours it wouldn’t be great value unless you got the full duration of the stay, drank alcohol (within safe limits to fly) etc. However, with Priority Pass my visit only cost £18.30 so it was great value.

Yes, the Plaza Premium Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 4 accepts Priority Pass, LoungeKey, and DragonPass, subject to availability and capacity restrictions.

The lounge offers a selection of hot and cold food, snacks, soft drinks, tea and coffee, and alcoholic beverages. Everything is buffet service.
How does the Plaza Premium Lounge compare to the Blush Lounge at Terminal 4?

Plaza Premium Lounge Heathrow Terminal 4 – Final Verdict
The Plaza Premium Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 4 is a comfortable and reliable option if you want a quieter space away from the main terminal, decent hot food and a chance to relax before your flight. It’s not a luxury showstopper, but it delivers well on the basics — particularly if you have lounge access included with Priority Pass or a lounge membership. If you’re travelling from T4 and want a stress-free pre-flight experience without paying premium airline lounge prices, this lounge is a solid choice.
